  • Volunteer without worrying about the logistics. You get to teach local elementary schoolers about STEM, talk to high school students about engineering, and run booths at UT events. We buy the supplies, get you there, and make it happen.

  • commit as much or as little time as you like. Want to volunteer every week? Great! Got a busy semester and can only show up every now and then? No problem.

  • keep a record of your service hours. All service hours will be logged on Hornslink so you can easily keep track of them.

  • meet other BME (and non-BME) students. We have social events throughout the year, like brunch, camping, Main Event, you name it. Since we are a smaller organization, you can get know the members you volunteer.

  • make a difference! From year to year, we have seen the kids we teach remember us and our activities.
